James holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification, a credential that underscores his commitment to detailed and strategic wealth planning. Leveraging his 30 plus years of experience, he integrates this knowledge into a comprehensive suite of services, including investment planning, tax-efficient strategies, estate planning strategies, retirement planning and college funding. The CFP® certification highlights his dedication to providing clients with tailored financial solutions that align with their unique goals and needs. James earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Alabama, where he also played baseball. He began his career in budgeting and forecasting with Wachovia Bank, a predecessor of Wells Fargo Advisors, and has gone on to become a dedicated financial advisor helping clients build wealth, realize their goals and live their life focused on what truly matters to them.
Outside of his professional life, James is deeply involved with his family and community in Buford, Georgia. He enjoys traveling, golf, and community service. He has been married to his wife, Brandy, for 30 years, and together they have raised three children. James is higlly involved and serves on the board of Exceptional Futures, an organization dedicated to providing enrichment programs for young adults with disabilities. He is also active with Habitat for Humanity in Gainesville, GA. His commitment to his family and community further highlights his dedication to making a positive impact and enriching the the lives of others.
